What is Project Nihilum : Zero about?

Stuck in an underground laboratory without any memories, you witness horrible crimes.
Knowing you will be next one day, you start planning your escape. Who can you trust? How can you control the power you feel inside of you?
And will you ever fully recover your lost memories along with the truth?

THIS IS THE DEMO VERSION!
It contains episode 01-05, on full release the game will have 14 episodes with additional episodes through new updates!

UPDATES
The game will be updated with new episodes, adding new gameplay to each of the 3 routes.

LANGUAGE
The game will be available in english.

CENSOR MODE (not in demo)
A censor mode can be activated at the beginning, allowing the player to experience censored versions of some scenes.

FULLY FREE
In-game/micro purchases are not possible. If you want to support the game, you can donate through Itch.io, Kofi or get merch from the Etsy store.

VOICE ACTING
Every character's dialogues are voiced by our talented voice actors.

MUSIC
The game features original soundtracks. You can unlock and listen to them in the game's music gallery.

MAIN CHARACTER
The main character will not be shown in the game. A custom name and pronouns (he/she/they) can be choosen.

ROUTES (not in demo)
Play 1 of 3 routes and discover the overall story through different perspectives.

STORY
Discover what happened to you before your memories were taken from you and chose your new 'familiy'.

IMAGE GALLERY
Unlock various images throughout the story and view them in the game's gallery.

MEMORIES
Discover the past of the characters in snippets by using a certain ability.

ABILITIES (not in demo)
Play with 1 of 3 abilities: Hybrid, Shape Shifting or Mind Glimpse. Depending on the ability, you can unlock certain scenes, memories or routes.

ROUTE: THE LABORATORIES

Because you want to spend time with the smart science people, we know. They will use you for their benefit, but you can do so as well. What will you encounter in the endless corridors? And will you make it out alive or become one of them?

ROUTE: THE TREFFPUNKT

You want a found family? This is the route you want to play. After all, everyone will show up here for shelter. Some of them are victims, some are former employees of the Labs. And - of course - a few of them are involved in shady business, playing every trick to accomplish their plans.

ROUTE: THE BOUNTY HUNTERS

A mysterious organization, found by an individual who is told to be no human at all. Money, hunting, and lies make it hard to believe any of them.

Are you a Streamer?

If yes, you CAN stream the game online (Twitch, Youtube, ...) under some conditions: No plain recordings of the game allowed, that means your stream must have audio/video of you/your character. We don't want people to just click through the game, record it without contributing anything and then gaining views through minimal effort! Stay creative everyone! :D
